Sushi-Ya

Hello, everyone! Welcome to my first post. It's hard to think what topic should I publish as my first post... but to make things easy for me, I 'm going to start with my favorite — Japanese food! Here you go... soome photos from Sushi-Ya at the SM MegaMall branch. Sushi-Ya is located below the grocery department at Building B.

The name says it all!

Probably the first thing you'll order at Sushi-Ya is their tempting Mix Sashimi, which is a plate of luscious Maguro, Tamago, Kani and Shake. Not bad for P250 bucks.

Mix Sashimi

Before anything else, let me first setup the sauce... Aaah... Kikkoman! There are a lot more soy sauce out there that are a good match for sashimi sauce, but for me — Kikkoman is the best!

And of course, wasabi!

Mmmmn.... ready?

Maguro = tuna.

Tamago = omelette — Japanese style!

Kani = crab.

Shake = salmon.

A few cans of San Miguel pale pilsen won't hurt, right?

Chopsticks!

Though I prefer to eat using spoon and fork, every once in a while, I try using chopsticks when I eat sashimi.

Yes!

Now let's try a beef dish... "Gyuniku" (beef) "Teppanyaki" (teppan means "iron plate" while yaki means "grilled". Now what do we have here?

Does the bean sprouts matter?

Japanese rice is a perfect match for the Gyuniku Teppanyaki.

Ain't complete without Japanese rice.
